Be in the Moment

Don't you just love the simple wisdom of Pooh Bear! It's all about how we look at things.

Here's a quick tip for dealing with overwhelm and being in the moment... I'm still learning this.

Our overwhelm comes from what we focus on - the problem, the past and its disappointments, the future and all the pressures, unrealistic expectations we attach to it.

But we can't change the past - we can only change how we see it. And we can't control the future - that would b nice hey! We can only do our best to prepare.

So the only thing we CAN do, is be in this moment, be in today.

Instead of worrying about what you could have done in the past or stressing about what you will have to do in the future, focus on WHAT CAN I DO TODAY? How can I live for today? o
- Accept the past.
- Respect the future.
- Live in this moment, focus on today.

And even better, write down what is the ONE MOST IMPORTANT thing you have to do or be today? Not the thousands of things on my list, but the one most important thing if nothing else happens.

And sweet one, be kind to yourself as you work it all out. It takes time to shift mindsets. Totally in it with you and cheering you on x 💜Ruth x
